Late Update - Chicago suffering from 'Saturday Night fever' : A 17-year-old boy shoot to death

Two men were shot late Saturday in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

The men, ages 22 and 23, were both injured in the shooting about 11:45 p.m. in the 3600 block of South Indiana, according to Chicago Police.

The younger man suffered multiple gunshot wounds, while the older man was shot in the left arm, police said. They showed up at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where both of their conditions were stabilized. The 22-year-old was later transferred to Stroger Hospital.


Three people, including a 15-year-old boy, were wounded in a West Pullman neighborhood shooting late Saturday on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened about 11:20 p.m. in the 0 – 100 block of West 121st Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

The boy suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.


A 21-year-old man was shot in the left foot and a 25-year-old man was shot in the left leg, police said. The older man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, but hospital information for the younger man was not immediately available.


 A 17-year-old boy was killed and a man was wounded in a shooting late Saturday in the South Side Back of the Yards neighborhood, police said.

The boy and 19-year-old man were standing in the street about 10:20 p.m. in the 5200 block of South Sangamon when a silver Audi pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The 17-year-old was shot in the back and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The man was shot in the left arm and was also taken to Stroger, where his condition was stabilized.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
